Role: Lead User Experience Designer, May 2017 - March 2018
Initiatives: I lead a design and experience overhaul of the shipping website for both external and internal customers. The original shipping site had not been changed since it was created over 10 years ago, which meant a complete reimagining of the experience and the UI. My goals were to design a seamless experience that allowed the user to quickly purchase shipping materials, create shipments, manage their accounts, and monitor their active shipments.
Process: I utilized analytical data, customer service feedback, user testing, and market research to uncover problems that could be solved in the new experience. I collaborated across teams in order to establish a direction for the new design and to understand how the system actually worked. I provided clear research, strategy, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for both key stakeholders and development teams.
